Pique the interest of your guests by introducing the topic of Athangudi tiles, segue into how there's a boardgame about it, and finally challenge them to a game!
Athangudi: Collector's edition is a limited edition to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the launch of our game Athangudi. A project that has taken more than 2 months from conception to finish, this edition features hand-painted tiles, a hat-tip to the original Athangudi floor tiles which are also individually made by hand by artisans. This edition is packaged in a custom made teakwood box.
The rulebook in the standard version has been replaced with a rule scroll. It also features an additional rule set of a mini-version of the game Athangudi, which can be played in under 5 minutes.

Athangudi: Collector's Edition lets you play a master artisan, who has to lay the floor at a Chettinad Mansion using Athangudi tiles. In this abstract game, try to get the highest score to win by creating motifs, forming sequences, and completing goals, all of which is possible, only if you choose your tiles wisely.

- 101 MDF tiles (70 Playing tiles, 15 Goal tiles, 16 Storage tiles), each one individually hand-painted by an artist over 2 months.
- 1 Rule scroll.
- 1 Scorebook
- 1 eco-Pencil (made from Paper)
- 1 jute pouch to store and transport the tiles.
- Packed in a teakwood box, lined with a velvet cloth base. A pine-wood insert is available to store and display the tiles.
Note: the product will be shipped with all components packed securely for transport. The tiles will be wrapped separately and will need to be arranged in the insert before use. Other components - velvet cloth, rule scroll, pencil and scorebook will also be need to set up and arranged before use. This is done to avoid movement of components during shipping, and to ensure safe, damage-free shipping.
