Chettinad Duet has not one, but two games in the box. Inspired by the Chettinadu region of Tamil Nadu, they feature various aspects of Chettinadu culture such as Athangudi tiles, Terracotta horses, teak pillars, and palatial mansions that one can see if they visit Chettinadu today.
Both games take about 20-30 minutes to play, and are briefly described below:
CHESSINAD:
Chessinad is a tug of war, where you place tiles to form patterns. Each pattern formed lets you “tug” 1 spot towards your side.

TRADE-ITION
In Trade-ition, the two players race to finish two of six possible tasks around the village. The twist? Only the player who finishes the second task wins.
